Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: enough to too much Surf / Sea State: Biggish Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: sun-cloud-rain Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Went down a bit after 10am and a few others already rigged and going out.
Rigged 5.2m and tried Allwave 95l I repaired. Nice comfortable board to
sail and a dream turn. Wind got up and sea bumpier so changed to 87l
boards. As wind increased and got bumpier I rigged 4.7m which I eventaully
flattened right off as wind continued to climb. Sea was big and bit messy
but not too bad. As tide came in some rollers were cleaner and I had about
an hour of very good sailing. Wind got up even more so changed to 4.2m and
after one run decided wind was too much. Good decision as when rain came it
got up to F9 but luckily everyone was in. Shore dump got a bit cahllenging
too, but if you waited flat spots did appear. Felt cold for first time this
year, oh dear.
